Game recap

IMPERIAL, Pa. - West Allegheny (Imperial, Pa.) snapped the four-game winning streak of Central Valley (Monaca, Pa.), with a 13-7 victory on Saturday.

The two teams were tied at seven heading into halftime. The Indians took the lead for good on a touchdown catch by Robert Threet in the third quarter.

Central Valley's only touchdown came on a defensive touchdown in the first quarter.

The victory will ease some of the sting of West Allegheny's close 13-9 loss to the Warriors last season.

The defeat comes as a step back for Central Valley, which notched a 41-0 victory over Blackhawk in its previous outing.
