            Baseball Recap: Timothy Christian Trojans vs. St. Edward Green Wave        
        
		
        
        
            Timothy Christian won the last time they faced St. Edward and things went their way  on Friday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Green Wave with a sharp  10-3 win. The Trojans not only won  on Friday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 2nd (when they won  17-7).
 Evan Colegrove was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
 In other pitching news,  Johnny Tragos tossed a big game,   tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits.

 Back at the plate,  Peter Buikema was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and two  doubles. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Luke Canada, who  went 2-for-4 with four  stolen bases and two  runs.
Timothy Christian's record is now 9-11. As for St. Edward, their defeat was  their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-19.
 Coming up, Timothy Christian will welcome Parkview Christian Academy  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for St. Edward, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Bishop McNamara  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Fightin' Irish will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Green Wave surely won't give up without a fight.
