Volleyball Recap: Severance Silver Knights vs. Poudre Impalas
The Severance Silver Knights came up short against the Poudre Impalas on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Silver Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Severance was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 30-28, 25-23, 25-23.
Olek Klimik paced Severance's offense, picking up 11 kills. Klimik got some help from Gabe Schneekloth and his 27 assists. Schneekloth was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
Severance now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Poudre, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Coming up, Severance will face off against Fort Lupton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Severance is facing Fort Lupton at the right time seeing as Fort Lupton is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Poudre will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pomona at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
