Lapel has gone 8-2 against Madison-Grant recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lapel Bulldogs will take on the Madison-Grant Argylls at 7:30 p.m. Lapel is coming into the contest hot, having won their last ten games.

Last Tuesday, Lapel earned a 73-62 win over Winchester Community. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Golden Falcons are ranked 239th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Madison-Grant's game on Saturday was all tied up 32-32 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 63-52 victory over Southwood. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Argylls.

Lapel's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games. As for Madison-Grant, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Lapel was able to grind out a solid win over Madison-Grant in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 64-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lapel since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
