Basketball Recap: Brophy College Prep Finds Playoff Glory Versus Highland

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brophy College Prep had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Highland Hawks with a sharp 68-48 win. The victory was nothing new for the Broncos as they're now sitting on three straight.

Highland lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tyson Cutchen, who posted seven points and six boards. Michael Johnson was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Brophy College Prep's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points over those games. As for Highland, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-11.

Brophy College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-49 victory against Mesa on the 8th. Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
