Softball Recap: Crosby-Ironton Rangers vs. Pillager Huskies

After losing to Pillager the last time they met, Crosby-Ironton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crosby-Ironton Rangers walked away with a 4-1 win over the Pillager Huskies on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Crosby-Ironton.

Tori Oehrlein spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Sammie Hachey was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
