Basketball Game Preview: Illini Bluffs Tigers vs. Macomb Bombers

Having just played yesterday, the Illini Bluffs Tigers will jump right back in to play the Macomb Bombers at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Illini Bluffs saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 58-45 to Pittsfield. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Saukees are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, Macomb unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. The match between them and Carrollton didn't end well, with Macomb falling 57-39.

Illini Bluffs' defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Macomb, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.

Illini Bluffs suffered a grim 43-23 defeat to Macomb in their previous meeting back in November. Can Illini Bluffs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
