Basketball Recap: Alliance Takes a Loss

Alliance was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 49-40 to the Pine Bluffs Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 255th in Nebraska, while the Hornets are ranked 21st in Wyoming).

Alliance's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Pine Bluffs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Alliance will face off against Lakota Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine Bluffs, they will challenge Wright at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
