Softball Recap: Buckeye Hawks vs. Glendale Cardinals
Buckeye put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They never let the Glendale Cardinals onto the board and left with a 20-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Buckeye sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Caleila Kaluna was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over four innings pitched. Kaluna was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and a triple.
In other batting news, Buckeye got a massive performance out of Valeria Villa Villarreal, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
