Football Preview: Mitchell Bluejackets vs. Brown County Eagles
The Mitchell Bluejackets are taking a road trip to challenge the Brown County Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mitchell is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Having struggled with eight defeats in a row dating back to last season, Mitchell finally turned things around against Crawford County on Friday. They blew past the Wolfpack 45-24. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-8.
Cam Gilstrap was a one-man wrecking crew for Mitchell as he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 92 yards and a touchdown. Malakai Goodman also helped with four touchdowns in total.

Mitchell's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Brown County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
