Carlsbad waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bonita Vista Barons. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Carlsbad won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24.

Carlsbad's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Bonita Vista, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Carlsbad wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Helix on the 11th. As for Bonita Vista, they are taking a road trip to square off against Olympian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
