Eaglecrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 25-0 to the Legacy Lightning. The Raptors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lightning apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Eaglecrest's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Legacy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Eaglecrest has already played their next contest, a 20-12 win against Smoky Hill on the 15th. As for Legacy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-7 victory against Thornton on the 10th.
