Western Christian had already won 15 in a row and they went ahead and made it 16 on Thursday. They put the hurt on The Webb Schools Gauls with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 25-16.

Michael Mapes paced Western Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Mapes got some help from Mack Kurth and his 23 assists. Jacob Roberts controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Western Christian's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-5. As for The Webb Schools, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

The Webb Schools will square off against Varsity Opponent at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Gauls' game: after the Gauls face off against Varsity Opponent, they'll take on Western Christian again at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
