Soccer Recap: UIC College Prep vs. Rauner
UIC College Prep kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 7-2 to the Rauner Wildcats. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Angel Montoya was handed one for the Firecats, while the Wildcats got theirs courtesy of Carlos Lagos.

Eduardo Oviedo scored both of UIC College Prep's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
UIC College Prep will head out on the road to face off against Muchin College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rauner, they will face off against Lake View at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
