Football Recap: Sonora Starts off Right with Win over Miles

Sonora had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 40-0 win over the Miles Bulldogs. The Broncos pushed the score to 34-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs had no chance of recovering from.

Sonora didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jayden Welborn and Armani Coronado. Welborn got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Coming up, Sonora will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Johnson City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Miles, they are taking a road trip to take on Sterling City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
