Volleyball Recap: Boca Raton Takes a Loss

Boca Raton was the 3-0 winner over Suncoast when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Boca Raton Bobcats fell just short of the Suncoast Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boca Raton started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 12-25, 25-19, 25-19, 15-9.

Nicholas Watson was nothing short of spectacular for Suncoast: he had 33 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Watson has posted since back in May of 2024.

Boca Raton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Suncoast, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Boca Raton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Tampa Bay HEAT on the 14th. As for Suncoast, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Jupiter on the 18th.
