Softball Recap: Ennis Has No Trouble Against Three Forks

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ennis). They walked away with a 16-12 victory over the Three Forks Wolves on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Ennis got a massive performance out of Ruby Boggus, who went 1-for-4 with six RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Ally Hilton, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-6.

Ennis pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Three Forks, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Coincidentally, Ennis and Three Forks will both be playing Manhattan the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will host the Tigers on Thursday, while the Wolves will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
