Mesilla Valley Christian School entered their tilt with Lordsburg on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mavericks a 13-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the SonBlazers have won by exactly 13 runs.

Jeremiah Sullivan and Zach Beasley made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Sullivan kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Beasley pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. At bat, Sullivan went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double, while Beasley went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Davis Coyle was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, he posted four RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Matt Borde was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI.

Mesilla Valley Christian School was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in 11 consecutive matchups.

Mesilla Valley Christian School pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lordsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.
