Preview: Borden Braves vs. Orleans Bulldogs
Borden has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Orleans Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Even though Borden has not done well against Henryville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Borden came out on top against Henryville by a score of 58-46. The victory was just what Borden needed coming off of a 74-44 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Orleans can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They really took it to Perry Central for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-20 win on the road. The win was familiar territory for Orleans who now have eight in a row.
Rylan Crocker was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with two steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Ian Hall was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Borden's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Orleans, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2.
