Baseball Recap: Westerville South Takes a Loss

Westerville South and Big Walnut squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Westerville South had to settle for second. They lost 8-0 to the Golden Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Westerville South's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Big Walnut, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Westerville South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Big Walnut, they will take on Mt. Vernon in a tournament on Wednesday.
