 The Kankakee Valley Kougars entered their tilt with the McCutcheon Mavericks with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. Kankakee Valley managed a  69-63 victory over McCutcheon  on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kankakee Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Camden Webster, who  scored 26 points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists. Webster is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's  now  scored 18 or more in the last four games he's  played.  Jeremiah Jones was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 15 points and 13  rebounds.
 McCutcheon lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Brody Raeke, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 12  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brody Baker, who  scored 15 points.
 Kankakee Valley's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for McCutcheon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
 Kankakee Valley will head out on the road to  challenge  North Judson-San Pierre at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Kankakee Valley's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last six matches. As for McCutcheon, they will be playing at home against Muncie Central at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Muncie Central is coming into the  contest with eight straight  losses on the road,  meaning McCutcheon will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  victory.
