Baseball Recap: La Habra Comes Up Short

La Habra came into this matchup off a tough 14-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Gahr Gladiators by a score of 9-7 on Wednesday. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bobby Fierro made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Nico DeCorte was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

La Habra's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Gahr, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.

La Habra will look to defend their home field on the 10th against La Quinta at 3:30 p.m. As for Gahr, they are taking a road trip to take on Downey at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Gladiators their first taste of in-conference action this season.
