Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Michigan Aviation Academy). They blew past the Algoma Christian Knights 75-50 on Friday. West Michigan Aviation Academy hasn't had any issues with Algoma Christian recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Despite the loss, Algoma Christian still got an impressive performance from Lucas Bouma, who went 7 for 15 on his way to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Rhys Kehoe, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

West Michigan Aviation Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Algoma Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Michigan Aviation Academy will square off against Muskegon Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
