            Basketball Recap: Brillion Lions vs. St. Mary's Springs Ledgers        
        
		
        
        
            It's playoff time, and Brillion had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the St. Mary's Springs Ledgers  51-48. The  win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on three straight.

Brillion's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Amaya Brooks led the charge by  shooting 46% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to six  assists and five  boards. Brooks is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Emma Schuh, who  dropped  a double-double with 14  points and ten  rebounds.
 Brooks wasn't the only one working in the  assist department: Brillion was working as a unit and  finished the game with 13  assists. Brillion is 16-4 when  they've passed the ball that well.
Brillion's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for St. Mary's Springs, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-8 record  this season.
 Brillion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  59-56  defeat against Manitowoc Lutheran on the 1st. St. Mary's Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
