Baseball Game Preview: Somerville Yeguas vs. Richards Panthers

For the second straight game, Somerville will face off against Richards. Somerville will be playing at home against Richards at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Somerville took a 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Richards, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Somerville won by a run and slipped past Richards 4-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Yeguas as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Gage Tuck was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Somerville is 2-1 when Tuck posts two or more stolen bases, but 0-6 otherwise.

Somerville's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Richards, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3-1.
