Soccer Recap: Queen's Grant Takes a Loss

If Queen's Grant was riding high fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Langtree Charter Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Queen's Grant Stallions lost 4-1 to the Parkwood Wolf Pack on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolf Pack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 last Wednesday.

Queen's Grant's goal came courtesy of Auria Barnes, who's now up to four this season.

Queen's Grant now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Parkwood, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4-1.

Coming up, Queen's Grant is taking a road trip to square off against Sugar Creek Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Parkwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Anson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parkwood will be up against Anson's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.8 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
