Football Recap: Nevada Union Comes Up Short on the Road Against Chico + How To Watch

Nevada Union had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Chico Panthers, falling 42-13. The Miners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Although Nevada Union took the loss, they still got scores from Anakin Steen and Rhyder Eelkema.

Chico's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brave Curcio, who rushed for 89 yards and two TDs.

Nevada Union has already played their next game, a 49-0 victory against Bella Vista on the 29th. As for Chico, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 33-14 win against Antelope on the 29th.
