Basketball Recap: Massac County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Massac County can now relate to. They fell to the Vienna Eagles 40-35. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the loss, Massac County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jude Harmon shot 40% from the field to rack up 18 points. With that strong performance, Harmon is now averaging an impressive 15 points per game.

Massac County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Vienna, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-11.
