Basketball Recap: Tok Piles Up the Points Against Tournament Opponent

On Thursday, the Tok Wolverines humbled Tournament Opponent with a 72-35 victory. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 36 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tok to victory, but perhaps none more so than BernaDean Simmonds, who posted 27 points along with six assists and six steals. Simmonds' afternoon made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Skyla Frank-Young, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 17 boards.

Tok smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Tok has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.
