Basketball Recap: Buffalo Piles Up the Points Against Spokane

Buffalo posted their biggest win since January 30, 2024 on Saturday. They blew past the Spokane Owls 59-26. This was payback for the Bison, who suffered a 49-32 loss the last time these two teams met.

Buffalo was led to victory by Braden McGregor and Blair Abraham. McGregor went 9 of 17 on his way to 24 points along with six assists and six boards, while Abraham dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. McGregor's morning made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Bennett, who posted five points and five boards.

Buffalo's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8. As for Spokane, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Buffalo has already played their next matchup, a 50-36 loss against Ava on the 13th. As for Spokane, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-21 defeat against Strafford on the 14th.
