Westfield had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Woburn Memorial Tanners a 12-0 shutout on Monday. Considering the Bombers have won 12 matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Westfield is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Woburn Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
