Burges extended their postseason success on Friday against Del Valle. They won by a run and slipped past the Conquistadores 6-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-6 on Thursday.

Burges saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Vazquez, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Another was Victor Aguirre, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Burges kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive matchups.

Burges is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-14-2 record this season. As for Del Valle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-7.
