The Lake Highland Prep Highlanders will take on the Orangewood Christian Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Highland Prep has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 5.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lake Highland Prep's offense. They came up short against Geneva on Tuesday, falling 16-0.

Meanwhile, Orangewood Christian suffered their biggest defeat since March 4th on Tuesday. They lost 15-3 to Mount Dora Christian Academy.

Orangewood Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mai TellezMartinez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Lake Highland Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Orangewood Christian, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lake Highland Prep hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .313. However, it's not like Orangewood Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .335. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
