Softball Recap: Kenwood Comes Up Short

Kenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-1 to the Parkville Knights. The Bluebirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Kayla Hill and Grace Davidson did some serious damage despite the final result: Hill scored two runs while going 3-for-3, while Davidson scored a run while going 4-for-4.

Kenwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Parkville, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Kenwood has already played their next game, a 19-1 defeat against Lansdowne on the 25th. As for Parkville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 19-3 loss against Franklin on the 25th.
