It was a good run, but Churchill unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the McDaniel Mountain Lions. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mountain Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Churchill's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for McDaniel, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Churchill has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Forest Grove on the 20th. As for McDaniel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Sandy on the 20th.
