Volleyball Recap: Windsor Locks Comes Up Short

The Windsor Locks Raiders lost 3-0 to the Granby Memorial Bears on Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-21.

Lily Holmes was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven digs and two aces. Those seven digs gave her a new career-high.

Windsor Locks' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Granby Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Windsor Locks wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Coventry on the 18th. As for Granby Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Rockville on the 17th.
