It's playoff time, and Red River had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Sheyenne Mustangs on Friday as they made off with a 9-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Roughriders, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Red River is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Sheyenne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10.
