Basketball Recap: Jones County Comes Up Short

Jones County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 60-47 to the Kadoka Kougars. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-50 last Thursday.

Kadoka's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kole Hermann, who went 6 for 9 en route to 15 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Gus Stout, who posted 16 points.

Jones County's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Kadoka, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Jones County will challenge Lyman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kadoka, they will square off against Timber Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
