Football Recap: Tarkington Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tarkington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Hardin Hornets 58-12. The Longhorns lost against the Hornets in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 27-14 score last time.

Tarkington's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hardin, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Tarkington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 41-7 defeat against Crockett on the 26th. As for Hardin, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-29 win against Orangefield on the 26th.
