Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Christian Starts Season with Win Against Knoxville Christian

Cleveland Christian took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Knoxville Christian Knights by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Crusaders, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cleveland Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 16-25, 26-24.

Knoxville Christian's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cleveland Christian will take on rival Apostolic Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Knoxville Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Knoxville A at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
