Volleyball Recap: Johnsburg Comes Up Short

Johnsburg lost against Oregon on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Skyhawks fell 2-0 to the Panthers.

Alexis Sweetwood paced Johnsburg's offense, picking up four kills. Sweetwood got some help from Adelaide Bruns and her nine assists.

Leading Oregon to victory were Devin Howard and Alexis Fields. Howard had eight digs and two assists, while Fields had six digs.

Johnsburg has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. As for Oregon, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-18.

Johnsburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Antioch on the 29th. Oregon has also already played their next match (against Beaver Dam), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
