Volleyball Recap: Cocoa Beach Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cocoa Beach lost against Edgewood back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Minutemen fell 3-1 to the Red Wolves. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 21-25, 25-10, 25-11.

Emily Fitzpatrick paced Cocoa Beach's offense, picking up eight kills. Fitzpatrick got some help from Tayber Diffenthal and her ten assists. Kate Monseliu controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Cocoa Beach now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Edgewood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Cocoa Beach will square off against Cocoa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edgewood, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Merritt Island Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
