Softball Recap: Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Comes Up Short on the Road Against Hillside

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Hillside Hornets, falling 17-2. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The victory (which was Hillside's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability will take on Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hillside, they will face off against South Garner at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hillside knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully South Garner likes a good challenge.
