On Monday Carson Cook didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched, which was good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than two hits. For the season, he has an ERA of .53 over 13.3 innings pitched.
