Creekside extended their winning streak to eight on Thursday, bumping them up to 16-3. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Ponte Vedra Sharks. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Isabella Seymour spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kaitlyn Robbins and Presley Brinkley did most of the damage at the plate: Robbins went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Brinkley went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Farcas, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Creekside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ponte Vedra only posted a batting average of .241.

As for Ponte Vedra, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this matchup were averaging four runs allowed.

On Ponte Vedra's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Siebenaler, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Looking ahead, Creekside will be playing in front of their home fans against Nease at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ponte Vedra, they will venture away from home to face off against Palatka at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
