Volleyball Recap: Greater Miami Academy Takes a Loss

Greater Miami Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Downtown Doral Dolphins.

While Greater Miami Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 22-25, 25-18, 25-23.

Greater Miami Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Downtown Doral, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Greater Miami Academy will venture away from home to take on Ransom Everglades at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Downtown Doral, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Pinecrest Glades Academy on the 17th.
