If Triangle Math & Science wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Excelsior Classical Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Tyler Hill. The Flying Lions walked away with a 54-44 win over the Tigers on Wednesday thanks in part to Hill, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least 16 points.

Shawn Francis-Service was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to eight steals and five assists. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Triangle Math & Science's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Zane Wilson, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 13 boards, and Ayyoub Baianonie, who posted eight points.

Excelsior Classical Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. As for Triangle Math & Science, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Excelsior Classical Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Henderson Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Triangle Math & Science, they will square off against Research Triangle Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
