Baseball Recap: Jamestown Takes a Loss

Jamestown fell victim to Prairie Home and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. The match marked the first time this year in which Jamestown was not able to get on the board.

Jamestown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Schoenthal, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Jamestown's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Prairie Home, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Coming up, Jamestown will host Calvary Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jamestown are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Prairie Home, they are taking a road trip to face off against Glasgow at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
