The biggest upset of the week belonged to New Haven, who took down 445th ranked Lincoln, 20-13.
Clintondale extended the longest winning streak in Macomb Area - Bronze this week by beating Clawson, 42-28. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Dragons.
The Trojans' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ty Sparks threw for 121 and two touchdowns and Marquian Johnson had 56 yards receiving. On the ground Mitch Herndon chipped in 64 yards. Charles Tarver helped Clawson's passing attack out by catching three balls for 32 yards.
Clawson's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sparks has thrown for 849 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Johnson has 19 catches for 345 yards. Steven Klein leads the league in rushing with 468 yards.
Clintondale moved up to 177 from 249 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 42-28 win over Clawson helped Dave Schindler's team improve its standing.
