Preview: Orrick Bearcats vs. Southwest Wildcats
The Orrick Bearcats will be playing at home against the Southwest Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Orrick pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 72-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northland Christian. Orrick has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Southwest had to suffer through a rough 67-26 loss at the hands of Sweet Springs.
The losing side was boosted by Garrett Larson, who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.
The losses dropped Orrick to 0-2 and Northland Christian to 1-1.
Orrick strolled past Southwest in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a score of 58-43. Does Orrick have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southwest turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
